Parcel delivery business Home Delivery Network has bought the UK domestic parcel delivery operations of Deutsche Post DHL
In a move that will increase pressure on the Royal Mail, parcel delivery business Home Delivery Network Limited has bought the UK domestic parcel delivery operations of Deutsche Post DHL
Gary Monk, HDN's chairman, said the transaction was "a transformational deal"
HDN has bought DHL Domestic, which comprises DHL's UK domestic business-to-business and business-to-consumer parcel delivery operations. The division concentrates on shipments that are delivered within the UK on a certain day rather than at a specific time of the next day
